One of the product placement advertising in Shenmue is the Timex watch that Ryo wears and the gamer caan look at whenever they choose. Timex actually released a real watch identical to the Shenmue one, however bearing "Shenmue", under the Timex logo on the watch front. As you can see, the watch comes in a padded case with a nice cover.
Also released was a Timx digital watch bearing the Shenmue logo on the strap.
